The tone of nature
Japanese have cherished life with nature since ancient times.
They had expressed different natural phenomena by sound and color.
Since globalization started, humanity has been losing nature and
not only in Japan. But, nowadays you can find amazing places
in the Japanese countryside, where nature is pure.
There people and nature coexist in harmony.
We value nature and life with it.
The Japanese invented a special word for the sounds of the rain
dripping from leaf to leaf at the rainy season.
It is called "shito shito" (drizzling rain) in Japanese.
Is there a similar expression in your language?

the sound of the raindrops.
雨の日、シルクハット坊やが口ずさむ
「あめあめふれふれ かあちゃんが じゃのめでおむかえうれしいな
ピッチピッチ チャップチャップ ランランラン」
懐かしい歌を耳にしました。
久しぶりに聞いてみると、子供達は雨の日は憂鬱な日ではなく、
お母さんが傘をさして迎えに来てくれる楽しい時間。
楽しい時間というのは、何をするかではなく誰と過ごしているか。
そういう思いを坊やの歌で感じられました。
信州も梅雨の季節に入りました。
木々の緑は”しとしと”と降る雨を受けて、
緑濃くいきいきとした様子。
この綺麗な原生林の美しさを是非大切な方と過ごして
愉しんでいただきたいです。

１ 長野県 SDGs 推進企業登録制度への登録
この度、株式会社明神館では、長野県で取り組まれております「長野県 SDGs 推進企業登録制度」に登録いたしました。
以前より行ってきました企業としての取り組みを継続するとともに、社員一人ひとりが未来の地球環境の保全を自覚し、それぞれの役目を果たし、地域と連携しながらSDGs の達成に取り組みます。
２ 株式会社明神館の取り組み
⑴ 安全・衛生管理
当社の経営理念「お客様の笑顔と至福のために」のもと、年齢・性 別・国籍・障がい等に関わらず、すべての方に幸福感を感じていただ けるサービスを提供しています。 全てのお客様が安心・安全にご滞在いただけるよう
・施設の安全・衛生の管理

・お客様滞在時に想定されるリスクの洗い出しと対応の確認

⑵ 自然環境の保全・整備
八ヶ岳中信高原国定公園の中という立地のもと、創業以来、地域環境の保全・整備、自然エネルギーの循環等に取り組んでおり、2009年に国際エコラベル「グリーンキー」認証を日本で初めて取得しました。

・電気、水の使用量の適切な管理・把握及び節水や節電の取組み

⑶ 食育活動
扉グループ統括料理長 田邉真宏が地域の小中学校の食育授業に講師として参加し、食育の推進に寄与しているほか、「自立心、探求 心、感受性、積極性を高めてあげたい」という思いから、地域の親子 を対象に食の寺子屋を実施しています。また、10年前より新入社員による田植え体験を実施し、地域の 食・文化・農産業への理解を深めています。
⑷ 里山再生プロジェクト
地域の人々と連携した地域課題の解決、身体的・精神的・社会的に 健康で安心な環境づくり、持続可能な地域社会の創造を目指し、信州 松本の日々の営みや暮らしぶりを「泊」、「食」、「参画」を通じて、より魅力的に伝えるための体験宿泊（民泊）事業を実施しています。
2019年に、築180年の蔵を要する松本市中山地区の古民家を活用し たSatoyama Villa DENをオープンしました。
敷地内の田畑では農業体験を実施しており、農産業への理解を深め るとともに、農産業への就業人口の拡大を図っています。
⑸ 海洋保全の取り組み
サステナブル・シーフードを専門とするコンサルティング・ファ ーム「シーフードレガシー」と連携し、持続する豊かな海の実現に 向けた取り組みを実施しています。
⑹ 扉ホールディングスの設立
2020年4月に経営に係る意思決定の迅速化、柔軟で最適なリソ ースの確保、ブランド力の向上、社会の変化に対する鋭敏で機動的 な新事業の立ち上げを可能にするグループ運営体制の構築を目的に 扉ホールディングス株式会社を設立しました。

緊急事態宣言の解除に伴い、6月1日より営業再開を目指し 準備を進めております。 しかしながら、新型コロナウイルスが撲滅された状況ではないことを踏まえ 6月末日までは、独自の管理体制をとり営業を再開させていただきます。
①ご宿泊に関し、受入室数制限の実行。 少しでも混雑をさけることとする。
②定期的な休館を設け、日常の除菌、消毒以外の消毒清掃を行い、より安心してご宿泊いただける対応を行う。
6月の信州は緑豊か、雨の日はその美しさがより一層際立つほどです。 松本の浅間温泉、上高地、白骨温泉、美ヶ原温泉、そして扉温泉。
