明神館までの細いワインディングロードは、旅の終着にふさわしく「この先に何があるんだろう」と胸が高鳴るそんな道。
「また来たい。またここに来よう。」そんな気持ちでお帰りいただく道。
これからも、この道を、たくさんの期待や思い出とともに、たくさんのお客様が通ってくださることを願っております。
山の中の一軒宿を営む私たちは、大切なお客様の安全を守る責任と、倒木が道をふさいだ光景を決して忘れません。
本日より、無事に通常営業が始まり、4日ぶりにお客様をお迎えさせていただきました。本当にようこそお越しくださいました。
The narrow winding road to Myojinkan is a road that makes you wonder, "What's ahead?", Suitable for the end of the trip.

皆様、このたびは大変なご心配をおかけいたしました。
数々のニュースでも取り上げられました、1月29日に発生した倒木による扉温泉地区の一時孤立の状態は、地元警察、消防をはじめ、長野県および松本市の多大なる支援のもと、無事に解消いたしましたので、ここにご報告申し上げます。ご滞在のお客様、ご家族の皆様には大変なご心配とご不便をお掛け致しましたが、全員が徒歩による下山を選択されるという大変勇気あるご決断をいただき、事態の終息を早期に迎えることができましたこと、心より感謝申し上げます。
美しい山々に囲まれたこの地で長年宿を営んでまいりましたが、大自然から受ける恩恵や脅威をこれほどまでに感じたことはありません。このたびの貴重な経験を生かし、快適で安全なご滞在をお客様にお約束できる施設を目指して、スタッフ一同精進してまいる所存です。

Everyone, we apologize for the inconvenience.
The temporary isolation of the Tobira Onsen area due to a fallen tree that occurred on January 29, which was covered in numerous news, was safe with the great support of local police, fire departments, Nagano Prefecture and Matsumoto City. We have resolved this issue and would like to report it here. We apologize for the inconvenience and concern to our guests and their families, but we all received the very courageous decision to choose to go down the mountain on foot, and the situation ended early. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for being able to welcome you.
I've been running an inn in this area surrounded by beautiful mountains for many years, but I've never felt the benefits and threats of nature like this. Taking advantage of this valuable experience, all the staff will devote themselves to aiming for a facility that promises a comfortable and safe stay for our customers.
We would like to thank all the people involved in Myojinkan for their warm support and cooperation.

本日現在、松本市街から明神館までの道路は除雪が完了しており、マイカーで安全にご通行いただくことができます。
また、松本まで電車でお越しのお客様は、松本駅からの無料送迎シャトルサービス(15:15発, 16:30発)をぜひご利用くださいませ。
扉の山は深い雪に覆われ、雪景色をお楽しみいただくには絶好のタイミングと言えるでしょう。皆さまのご来館をお待ちしております。
As of today, the road from Matsumoto city to Myojinkan has been cleared of snow, and you can safely drive by car.
If you are arriving at Matsumoto by train, please use the free shuttle service from Matsumoto Station (departs at 15:15 and 16:30).
The mountain of doors is covered with deep snow, which is a perfect time to enjoy the snowy landscape. We look forward to your visit.

日本各地で大雪のニュースが届いており、交通機関の乱れから、ご来館のお客様には大変ご不便お掛けいたします。深い雪に包まれた扉では、この雪の日にしか出会えない景観がお待ちしております。雪の立ち湯はやはり素晴らしい。

小正月を締めくくる松本の伝統行事、三九郎。
毎年1月15日、明神館では館内のお正月飾りや門松でミニサイズの三九郎を作っております。
ご夕食後にお客様にご参加いただく、女性スタッフで手作りした繭玉やホットチョコレート、甘酒、粕汁を寒い夜空の下、三九郎を囲んで、無病息災を願います。
明神館で変わらずに繰り返される、寒いけれど温か～い扉の夜の風景です。
Sankuro, a traditional event in Matsumoto that concludes the First Full Moon Festival.
Every year on January 15th, at Myojinkan, we make mini-sized Sankuro with New Year's decorations and Kadomatsu.
We hope that the female staff will join us after dinner with cocoon balls, hot chocolate, amazake, and soup, and surround Sankuro under the cold night sky to ensure no illness.
It is a night view of a cold but warm door that repeats unchanged at the Myojinkan.

明日1/15、明神館では毎年恒例の三九郎を行います。
三九郎に備え、スタッフみんなで繭玉つくりをいたしました。三九郎に参加いただくお客様に柳の枝にさした繭玉を焼いて召し上がっていただきます。これを食べると一年間風邪を引かないんだとか。
Tomorrow, 1/15, the Myojinkan will hold the annual Sankuro.
In preparation for Sankuro, all the staff made cocoon balls. Customers who participate in Sankuro will be asked to bake a cocoon ball on a willow branch. I heard that eating this will not catch a cold for a year.

毎年恒例の徳運寺さんへの三九郎ツアーを今晩開催いたします。
徳運寺さんは、松本の厄除け参りで有名な東山厄除観音です。
ご夕食のあと、バスで出発いたします。本日1/10ご宿泊のお客様だけのツアーです。

We will hold an annual Sankuro tour to Tokuunji tonight.
Tokuunji-san is Higashiyama Apotropaic Magic Kannon, who is famous for visiting Matsumoto's Apotropaic Magic.
After dinner, we will depart by bus. This tour is for guests staying on 1/10 today.
